Julie Mustoffa- Meggitt has been working as a stylist in the salon industry since 1982. A leader in the industry with remarkable talent, she has spent more than half of her career as an educator working with renowned artists and product companies including Paul Mitchell, Brocato, Toni and Guy, MOP and Unite.
Julie’s considerable teaching experience is vast, she is a pinnacle educator having worked nationally and internationally teaching classes in salons and at trade shows. Julie currently teaches at her salon, The Parlour as well as the Unite academy in San Diego.
With her diverse expertise and love for hairdressing, Julie is equipped to bring out the perfect shape for each individual. She mixes foundational techniques with fashion interpretation to achieve the ultimate desired result. Her highly technical background coupled with her creative energy enable her to help each individual find their style.
Julie has been published in several industry leading magazines including Modern Salon, Passion, 303 Magazine and Bloom Magazine. Julie has written text for haircutting videos as well as being the talent within. Julie stays actively involved in New York Fashion Week as well as other large fashion shows on both coasts and in the community. Her most recent work was featured on the runways of Diane von Furstenberg and on celebrities such as Dennise Richards, Maya and several other leading US athletes.
