VIDEOBIO

Two of the things that influenced Udo Spreitzenbarth in his childhood were to play with his big brother’s camera equipment and his older sister’s Barbies, which may have led him to his career as a fashion photographer.  During his first visit to New York, he fell in love with the city’s energy and realized that this is where he wanted to be.  After spending only one year in the Big Apple, Udo shot his first billboard featured in Times Square.  From there his career took off, featuring clients such as DKNY Jeans, Maybelline, Fubu, Avirex and Mavi, among countless other brands.  Udo has worked with international magazines including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle and Marie Claire.  His venture into art photography has awarded him much acclaim and resulted in a very successful series of exhibitions in Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt and Shanghai.  These exhibits recently earned him a feature on the cover of the very prestigious Photographie Magazine.
